Hey there~

I’m Lilian, a UX designer with a background in interactive design and an unexpected journey through the world of international trade in raw plastic materials. Initially drawn to the excitement of cross-cultural collaboration, I spent three years helping a company expand beyond China, setting up workflows for international trade, developing new foreign suppliers and translating when meeting foreign clients. Although it seemed far from design, I used this opportunity to develop my skills in system thinking and detail orientation—key aspects that now define my design approach.

Realizing design was where I wanted to make the biggest impact, I started a master’s in service design in Japan and explored the frontiers of AI in healthcare during a UX internship. My diverse experiences have taught me the importance of open communication and systematic work, principles I bring to every project.

When I'm not designing, I enjoy nature—whether hiking, or enjoying a quiet walk in the park. I also play squash and swim regularly. Recently living in Japan independently sparks my passion for cooking. These interests help me to stay healthy, positive and appreciative of the beauty in the world around us.
